FORMATION OF THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST TRANSPORT COMPLEX: PRINCIPLES AND CONDITIONS
Abstract
The transport complex of the Far East, on the one hand, remains the least developed element of the Russian transport system, on the other hand, it has a strategic nature that ensures the balancing of the country's geopolitical forces. The article examines the stage of formation of the Far East transport complex (the second half of the XIX – the beginning of the XX century) to determine the historical patterns of development of both the complex itself and the economy of the Far East.
