ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL EFFICIENCY OF E-WASTE RECYCLING

Abstract

The article deals with the relevance of the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The urgency of the correct handling of e-waste is due to the fact that the amount of WEEE in the world is increasing, which has a negative impact on human health and the environment. One of the main problems on the way to the formation of the industry for the processing of electronic waste in various countries can be identified as a low level of waste collection. This article analyzes the environmental, social and economic efficiency of recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment. Some data on the formation and composition of waste from electronic equipment are presented.
