Abstract

The paper examines the main trends in ESG investing. Barriers have been identified that impede a more active expansion of ESG investing in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. It was revealed that the lack of data on ESG practices actually implemented in companies makes it difficult to assess possible areas for investment and creates difficulties for investors in making informed decisions. As one of the possible solutions to this problem, the development of ESG standards – reporting with unified indicators – is proposed.
