THE MAIN MODERN PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LITERARY TOURISM IN THE MOSCOW REGION

Abstract

Literary tourism is a promising but underdeveloped area of tourism in the Russian Federation as a whole and its regions separately. The article considered the current state, problems and prospects for literary tourism on the example of the Moscow region, formulated directions and recommendations for the development of literary tourism and increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region.
Literary tourism is a subspecies of cultural tourism associated with literary works and their characters, as well as various aspects of the life of their authors. The development of this type of tourism is important for the overall development of tourism and culture in Russia.
