INFLUENCE OF CITIES - ADMINISTRATIVE CENTERS OF REGIONS ON POPULATION MIGRATION

Abstract

The article examines the role of cities - administrative centers of the Russian Federation in population migration, compares the share of the population and the share of employees of organizations that fall to the city - administrative center from their total number in a specific region. In addition, using the example of several regions with annual negative and positive values ​​of the coefficient of migration growth of the population, the distribution of the population between the cities of the region is considered.
