Abstract

The article is devoted to an overview of some common misconceptions inherent to the paradigm of macroeconomic equilibrium, which underlies the theoretical constructions of the modern mainstream. It is shown that the period of the dominance of information technologies requires the formation of new directions of economic theory, which are based on the paradigm of stable disequilibrium, in particular, the recognition of the fact of technological heterogeneity and instability in economic processes
