INTERNET PLATFORMS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THE RECOGNITION OF RUSSIAN CINEMA
Abstract
This article examines the transformation of Russian cinema under the influence of digital platforms over the past decade. The article analyzes how online cinemas have changed the models of production, distribution and consumption of domestic film content. Special attention is paid to the strategies of promoting Russian films and TV series, as well as their influence on the formation of a new image of Russian cinema both domestically and abroad. Based on statistical data and case studies, it is proved that digital platforms have become a catalyst for qualitative changes in the Russian film industry.
