METHODOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF INTERCOUNTRY ANALYSIS OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The purpose of this work is a comparative analysis of the methodology of statistical accounting for various areas of the circular economy development adopted in the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), China, the European Union and Russia. Based on the data presented in European and Chinese statistics, in the database of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, government reports of the Russian Federation, data from the Federal State Statistics Service, an analysis of existing indicators for monitoring the formation of a circular economy was carried out, and methodological problems of the development of a circular economy were identified. economies in different countries. Methods of statistical analysis, comparative and bibliographic analysis are used as the main research method. Because of the comparative analysis, it can be clearly said that the most detailed information for international comparisons in the field of monitoring the development of the circular economy is provided by the OECD database and the European Union database. The statistical databases of Russia and China on the issues of the circular economy currently remain a little in the background and only reflect the main flows in general.
