DETECTION OF STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS FOR REGION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BASED ON REGRESSION ANALYSIS OF CREATED AND DISTRIBUTED GRP
Abstract
Correct goal-setting is the key to successful planning at any level - from operational to strategic. Erroneous guidelines can both "freeze" the managed system in its current, ineffective state, depriving its flexibility and dynamism, and lead the control object to instability. In this regard, the process of goal-setting in general, as well as the process of goal-setting in the strategies of economic (socio-economic) development of the region in particular, should be scientifically reasoned, rely on the use of methods of economic and mathematical analysis and modeling. In practice, the guidelines for such programs are largely determined by the interests of various economic agents, established traditions or newfangled tendencies. In this paper we have identified the factors of economic growth that have the greatest return in the form of the created GRP for the example of the Belgorod region, using the methods of regression analysis. We also identified the most efficient areas for the use of the region's gross income by assessing the multipliers of aggregate demand aggregates. The quantitative assessment made it possible to identify areas of economic development that enable the region to use the existing potential and get an impetus for further structural optimization of the economy. The tools and methods used can be applied when drawing up strategies for the socio-economic development of other regions, as well as when writing other program documents.
