Abstract

The formation of an effective team is one of the most important conditions for the implementation of an investment and construction project. The problem of the Russian team building system lies in the appointment of leadership only on the basis of functional competencies. Many organizations suffer from one-sidedness, caused by the predominance of one type and the lack of breadth of vision.

The paper also analyzes the principles of selection of managerial personnel from a psychological point of view. The assessment was based on the typology of temperaments by David Keirsey. The key trend of a successful personnel policy is as follows: the dynamics of the ratio of psychotypes from level to level ultimately leads to the fact that at the top level there is a balance of conservatives and innovators. For a successfully functioning construction organization, it is necessary to prevent the promotion of emotional leaders and tacticians to the upper management floors.
