ANALYSIS OF WORLD EXPERIENCE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY PRINCIPLES AT THE CITY LEVEL
Abstract
The concept of the circular economy has become widespread as a progressive approach to solving urgent crosscutting problems related to the management and use of resources, as well as sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the provisions of the circular economy (circular economy) on the examples of various cities. The study revealed the features of the transition to a circular economy at the level of cities and urban agglomerations. The features of the transition to a circular economy at the level of cities and urban agglomerations are identified, which include the development of national and regional strategies for the transition to a circular economy (CE) with planned quantitative indicators, the development of measures for sectors of the economy. Problems associated with the transition to the principles of CE have been identified: budget constraints, insufficient involvement and awareness of stakeholders, lack of knowledge and technical skills.
