Abstract

The paper examines the case of building a system of interaction with suppliers using the category management method using the example of the retailer «Leroy Merlin Vostok» LLC. During the analysis of the system of interaction of the focal company with suppliers, the following shortcomings were identified: the company does not effectively organize the process of working with suppliers; the level of availability of goods from suppliers that are popular with the customer base is not high enough; operational work takes up too much of the procurement specialist's workflow. As part of improving the system of interaction with suppliers, some organizational measures were proposed.
