NON-CREDIT RATING OF HOTEL ENTERPRISES AS AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO SOLUTION THE PROBLEM OF LOW QUALITY HOTEL SERVICES

Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of hotel ratings in order to develop the domestic hotel infrastructure and competition in the market, which will lead to an overall increase in the level of tourist satisfaction with Russian hotels and will increase the demand for domestic tourism infrastructure. We propose to evaluate hotels and their risks in three blocks: financial reliability, corporate governance and quality of services. Each of these sections consists of a list of factors, each of which will have a certain weight in the total weighted sum of scores and thus form a non-credit rating of financial reliability, corporate governance and quality of services of hotel enterprises. The most significant factor in the assessment is the level of compliance of the quality and availability of the services provided with the star rating of the hotel, since for a tourist this is the most important indicator, and accordingly, it should be given a leading place in the draft methodology.
